The flat, which is in a riverside development on Rotherhithe Street, consists of double bedroom, reception room, separate modern kitchen and bathroom with shower and bath. Please note that the bedroom and lounge are separate. We also use the lounge for sleeping if required. Here we have the option to put single mattresses. Please see the pictures. The bathroom and kitchen are tiled and the rest of the flat has oak flooring throughout. There is also a secure gated parking space. The apartment is fully furnished and has WI-FI.
In the local area you will find everything you need for your stay; there are supermarkets, bars, cafes, and restaurants. The apartment is just steps from the Thames, and just a short walk or bus ride to some of London's most famous sights including Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, and Greenwich.
The area has great transportation links. The flat is just a short walk from both Rotherhithe and Canada Water Tube Stations, which gives you access to both the overground and the Jubilee Line. If you are in London on business this flat is the ideal place for you to stay. The River Bus to Canary Wharf is close by, and takes just 3 minutes to cross the Thames!!

Sidney is a wonderful host! The apartment is lovely and quiet, located on the banks of the Thames River and perfectly served by public transport. The kitchen is fully equipped so we were able to make dinner at home. There was was also a TV and a really good internet connection. Sidney gave us all the information we needed and was really helpful during our stay. I highly recommend the apartment.
After the last review we became a little anxious that the place was not going to be as we’d expected. However, we did have a really good time and thought that the flat was great. The bed was comfortable and seemed new (maybe the owner had replaced it since the last person’s complaint). The flat is located on a really nice street, which backs on to the Thames. You are basically on the otherside of Canary Wharf. We discovered that you can easily access the river by going out the back door.
Sidney was really helpful and came over to give us the remote for the garage, as we wanted to park our car.
We found the place to be peaceful with excellent connections to the central attractions.
We recommend this place for a short getaway in London!
We spent three nights here. Although it was mostly as advertised (everything kind of worked, if you have the patience), I cannot recommend this place for a London stay.
First, you are not "on the river." You face a street with housing on the other side, and access to the river is kind of a joke, so don't be swayed by that part of the ad.
The flat is very, very sad and tired. The owner needs to replace the bedding and this cheap and gross couch. There is an even grosser cheap and gross wool blanket on this couch that servces as a cover, but I'd hesitate to let my dog sleep on it.
There is not a stick of artwork on the walls, giving it a "single lightbulb in the centre of the room" look. The oven was nearly impossible to figure out, and one of the radiators would not shut off even when you turned it off. We eventually got both appliances to work, but repeated phone calls to Sidney, our contact, for help were ignored. We never did hear back from her.
Oh -- and there's no hot water in the place after 10 a.m. My takeaway from our stay is the owner's a complete cheapstake....
Also, the area is purely residential, remote and boring. The nearest pub is winner (the Mayflower) but it's a considerable hike, and groceries are a full 20 minutes on foot -- as is the nearest Tube station.
If we paid half price, I'd be okay with this accommodation, but we paid full. The biggest joke was the tip jar.
I wouldn't want to call the property total crap -- more like the bare minimum -- but at this price, give it a pass.
Sidney, can you explain your lack of communication? Don't tell me I had the wrong number because I confirmed it with you by email before we left.
On october, three guests were stayed there. The house was acceptably good in general.
The bedroom was fine but the bed wasn't comfortable enought.
There weren't any supply bedsheets.
The bathroom was the worst in the flat . It had got some mildew on the ceiling . The watercross was so slowly to be full and there was one towel per each, for five days only.
The kitchen was acceptable with pans, pots and owner.
In the livingroom there were two mattress on the floor.
Sidney met us in the flat and he was very friendly.
There were some stops bus near with C10 / 381 line, to
Canada water underground.
There is a small supermarket to twenty minutes walking, althought it is expensive.
From Canada Wather underground you could find a Tesco to five minutes walking.
I would come back to stay there again.
Nice place for a small visit to London. 30 min from the center by bus. Just what you need for a couple with two chidren.
We've been staying in this flat for three nights with our family of 4 people. The kids had comfortable mattresses and the bed in the other room was very comfortable as well. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and had a great time! The fact that we could securely park our car although we were really central was especially positive. We loved to go into the city by bus, there were several bus stops close to the flat. Sidney was very friendly and helpful and he managed to meet us immediately when we came in! Thanks again! Altogether, we would love to come again some day, it's been a perfect stay- only too short! :)
We (family with 2 girls) can recommend this apartment, which is located in a quiet neighborhood near the river Thames. There is a bus stop near by as well as a grocery. Sidney is a very friendly host, who waited patiently until 3 a.m. (our flight was delayed almost 3 hours) to give us the keys and provide useful Information on how to get around etc. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly come again!
we (4 girls!) stayed for one week at Helena Square 25. The accomodation is located in a very good area of London very close to the river Thames and the Thames Path to London City. It was clean, we had a kitchen with all necessary things, fresh towels and bed linen, hairdryer...
At the moment there is a warm water-problem, but Sydney explained us, how to use the warm water, so that everything was at least fine. He also helped us with the minicab and gave us all the information we needed. Thank you very much, I do recommend this accomodation and Sydney as well as a good host. I'm sure that I'll return to this place...
