The accommodation was very nice. However the kitchen area was very small and fairly ill-equipped (I.e. no tea spoons, spatulas, broken corkscrew etc). Also we opened the windows at night because it was very hot but it was very noisy all night anfrom about 7am as the room is so close to the kitchen. It did have a very good and quiet fan. Good location.
Our stay was very pleasant and enriching. Situated in a quiet building, the apartment ( 1st floor) is 2 mn in feet of the city center historic and surrounded with convenience stores; it is functional and equipped well; the night mask can be useful; since the station take the subway C and come down to the station " I.P. Pavlova ", then to take the streetcar 22 up to the station " Malostranska ", and to turn back to the street " Karmeliska " up to the bar " U Maholéna Glena ": it is there. The reception is made in the bar by the very welcoming waitress. We recommend this accommodation a lot.
Not recommended. My daughter did not dare enter the reception to get the keys due to an evolving barfight. Disgustingly dirty kitchen utensils. Nice neghborhood though and a potentially Nice apartment.
Wonderful apartment and very nearby the city. We will gladly return next time when being in here.
Great and hepfull staff, and apartment was amazing !! Well located, big and confortable....food on the downstairs bar also very good!!!
Don't get me wrong - the room, if you actually get it, is great. The service, however, sucks.
First night they gave the wrong apartment, claiming Wimdu had called them for the other one - which is off course nonsense, it all goes automated through the website, where they get to see what I booked when they have to confirm it. But they simply decided to put me in the other apartment that they have, which is not as comfortable, has noise from the street, kitchen and bathroom in the same room and small beds.
They claimed the other room had been rented out already to someone who would be staying there for a long time. It was evening, if I needed things sorted out, I'd have to come during the day when someone in the office could help me.
The next day I came by several times, but never was there anyone who could help me. In the evening "suddenly" the person who was supposed to rent MY room (the night before they claimed he was already in it!) had cancelled, and I could have it after all.
After I moved, it turned out this room had no wifi, and it took me another day before that was fixed.
I hoped to come to an understanding with the boss for some compensation, but he outright denied that.
So once again - the apartment is great, wonderful location etc. That in itself would get 4 stars.
But in the night, the people of the restaurant can't really help you if there's a problem (and have wrong info for wifi etc.), and during the day, it's hard to get hold of someone who actually can, and they're not really accomodating if you get them.
And worst of all - you run the risk of your apartment not even being available, and they tuck you into another one.
We spent 5 days there and had really great time. First of all location of the apartment is the best you can find in Prague. Walkable to everywhere. There is a restaurant/bar just under the apartment, their employees are so helpful and they have the best beers of prague :) The worst thing about apartment there is no wifi even we asked by email before we go and they said they have it but there was no wifi that was the only dissapointment for us.You have to go downstairs to use Pub's free wifi.
Consigliatissimo e senza alcuna controindicazione.
